What to expect from our onboarding

We know that starting a new job is exciting – but it also comes with a lot of new information. That’s why we’ve designed a structured and supportive onboarding process to make sure you feel welcome, informed, and well taken care of right away.

Our onboarding is more than just paperwork and formalities. It’s about getting to know your team and learning more about other areas of the company – e.g. understanding how different departments work together, immersing yourself in our mission, vision, and company culture. Therefore, from the moment you sign your contract, we focus on making your transition as smooth and engaging as possible.

A thoughtful & engaging process

Onboarding to us isn’t just about you learning your tasks – it’s about truly becoming part of our team. That’s why we ensure that your onboarding process is comprehensive and covers everything from company values to product knowledge, all in a well-structured and interactive way – Because we know that an overwhelming first week packed with back-to-back meetings isn’t ideal. Therefore, we spread the process over your first few weeks, depending on your role and function.

🎒Preparing your first day

Before your first day, you’ll receive all the information you need to ensure you’re well prepared for a smooth and peaceful start at Evermood.

You’ll receive details about your first day–when to be where etc. Depending on whether you want to join remotely or in person, we can also help you coordinate your travel arrangements (if you’re traveling from outside of Berlin). Furthermore, you’ll learn how to apply for your BVG ticket and gym membership, as well as receive more information about any upcoming events (e.g. a fair or offsite).


⭐Your first day

Once your first day begins, you’ll get a quick office tour – that is if you decide to come to our office that day. Otherwise, you’ll dive straight into your welcome meeting, where you’ll get an overview of your onboarding journey, including your personalized to-do list in Notion and details about your upcoming meetings.

Next, you’ll receive a product demo to help you understand what we’re building. In the afternoon, we usually have a (virtual) welcome coffee break, where you can meet some of your new colleagues, followed by a quick first-day check-in with HR – either Henning or Annika B.

We want you to learn at your own pace. Therefore, your onboarding handbook in Notion will guide you through key tasks, helping you track your progress while allowing flexibility. Some tasks have specific time frames, but everything is clearly outlined so you’ll always know what to focus on first.


📝 Your first week(s)

After your onboarding meeting, tool setup, and product demo, your first two weeks will focus on getting to know Evermood and the people behind it.

You'll start with a Mission & Vision introduction from our Managing Director, Marie, followed by an overview of our company meeting structure to help you understand how we collaborate. At the same time, you’ll begin working on your first team-related tasks, allowing you to dive into your role early on.

To give you a well-rounded understanding of Evermood, you’ll also have intro meetings with each team—Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, Content, Events, Counseling, and People Operations. In each session, a team member will walk you through their day-to-day work, share insights, and answer any questions you have. This is a great opportunity to see how everything connects and to truly understand our product.

Alongside these introductions, you’ll continue working through your onboarding to-do list, ensuring you have all the knowledge and tools needed to succeed.

Never hesitate to ask questions and get involved–this way you’ll always understand what your tasks and our expectations are, but also what is going on outside your immediate responsibilities.
